At the Arizona State Grade Level Chess Championships, IST took the Grade 3 title! Robbie finished in second place in the individual Championships, making him best in Tucson. IST had a small team overall and did not field enough players for team awards in G4, G2 or G1, the other levels at which we competed.
This complements the K-3 State Championship title IST won at the 2011 team championships in Flagstaff, meaning that IST now holds both Grade 3 and K-3 state titles.
