IST’s sixth Summer Programme is for children 3 – 11 years old, and runs Monday 6 June to Friday 22 July. Children may sign up for single weeks or for all seven; discounts apply for four and seven weeks when pre-paid. Children may sign up for AM programmes, PM programmes or combine both for a full-day programme. Please check back as this page is regularly updated, or contact us to be placed on a mailing list and to be sent updates.

All programmes depend on demand so contact us early to let us know of your interest. Any four or seven weeks count for the multi-week discount. Mix and match; have your child try different AM Languages / PM Activities. Just let us know. You can also change your original elections, subject to space being available. Just let us know!

Seven one-week PM programmes in two Sections for ages 5 - 11 (beginners - USCF 450 and USCF450 - 900) with some of Tucson's best Scholastic coaches. (Private clinics can be arranged for players over 900; please contact us.) Some weeks will include a USCF rated tournament on the Friday. A five-week (5 July - 5 August) all-day programme (8.00 - 6.00pm) for children aged 3 - 12. We are collaborating with the Center for English as a Second Language ("CESL") at the University of Arizona. Children whose parents are enrolled in a Summer Intensive English class at CESL may join us for that time. Note that this programme is different from our other programmes - students may enrol full-time and for all five-weeks only.
