IST does well at State Chess Championships

IST was represented by four players at our first "away" tournament - the Arizona Grade Level Chess Championships played in Flagstaff Saturday 8 January 2011.

Algol finished second in Kindergarten, Robbie sixth in Grade Two, Nic tenth in Grade One and Isaac sixteenth in Grade Two. IST finished third in Grade Two which is notable as we had only two players in the team, while the other schools had three.

These are all state titles!! Well done everyone.
