- Registration - $50 per child
- Deposit - $500 per child (once an offer of a place for your child(ren) has been made, the Deposit holds the place and is deducted from Tuition Fees when Enrolment is completed). Typically required in October for a January entry or in March for August. A Deposit is not required for immediate entry.
- Pre-School (ages 3 - 6) - Base Tuition Fees are approximately $7 000 per year for a full-time student; actual fees depend on status (part-time or half-time) and payment method (payment in full is a little less, payment by instalment, a little more). Tuition Fees are inclusive; you will not be asked to pay for additional supplies, activities or events with the exception of some extra-curricular activities*. Extended Care fees apply on a "per use" basis for AM (before School) and PM (after School) Care, although, where familes know in advance that they will require Extended Care, significant discounts apply for pre-payment.
- Junior School (ages 5 - 12) - Base Tuition Fees are approximately $7 500 per year for a full-time student; actual fees depend on payment method (payment in full is a little less, payment by instalment, a little more). Tuition Fees are inclusive; you will not be asked to pay for additional supplies, activities or events with the exception of some extra-curricular activities*. Extended Care fees are not charged.
- Discounts - Sibling, Returner and Referral Discounts are available.
- Financial Aid - Financial Aid is available in the form of Scholarships. In 2009/2010, 2010/2011 and 2011/2012, approximately 30% of IST students received Scholarship assistance, an incredible level of support in IST's fifth, sixth and seventh years of existence.
- Co-Curricular activities - Fees for the co-curriculum are included, such as Field Trips, Visits, Exhibitions, Studdent Council, Concerts, Prize-giving and more.
- *Extra-curricular activities - Fees for most activities are included in Tuition Fees, although some, for example Basketball, Chess or Instrumental Music, may have a fee charged by an outside instructor or a league.
IST's Tuition Fees do not cover the full costs of educating our students; for example the capital costs of buildings and facilities are not included. The average cost per student of an IST education is in the range of $8000 - $10000 and accordingly, fundraising and donor support are necessary.
