IST's Soccer Club has five squads and any IST student may join the Club practices. There are no fees for Club practices, however the Commitment / Permission forms must be signed and submitted.

Ages 5 - 7 Beginners and recreational (non-Saturday competition) players
Ages 6 - 8 Beginners and competition players / Under-8 League* team
Ages 7 - 10 Experienced and competition players / Under-10 League* team
Ages 9 - 12 Experienced and competition players / Under-12 League* team

Students must be at the park, changed into their IST Activity Uniforms, ready to begin practice. Students not in correct attire will not be permitted to join the practice. Shin-guards are recommended for practices and mandatory for matches. Sprigs (cleats) are not required, but short-sprigs (cleats) may be worn.
The IST Soccer Club Captain (coaches, fixtures, state and league liaison) is Mrs Amy McDonald.
Under-8
The Under-8 team plays 2 - 4 games against different scrimmages at Himmel Park 9.30 - 10.30am every Saturday morning, October - December and then January - March. This League is somewhat casual and participation and effort are seen as most important. Matches start in early October. Cleats are not required. Shin-guards and IST Activity Uniform are required.
Under-10
The Under-10 team plays in an 8 v 8 citywide competition played on a half-size field under normal rules, and controlled by PCJSL under the auspices of AYSA. Matches are played between 8.00am and 3.00pm at venues all over Tucson; the draw (dates, times, opostion, venues) will be posted as soon as we receive it. Pre-season in-house friendlies start in early September. Cleats are recommended. Shin-guards and IST Activity Uniform are required; players will be issued with a match shirt prior to each game which is to be returned to the coach for laundering.

Players must have shin-pads and the IST Activity Uniform to play, and parents must have submitted the forms below to Mrs Amy McDonald, IST Soccer Club Captain beforehand. If you have any questions about the Leagues, or about which team your child(ren) should play for, please ask Mrs McDonald.
League play is separate from and additional to the weekly Club practices. IST Soccer club players do not have to join one of the league teams; however, league players must attend the weekly club practices.
