IST offers two types of Scholarship.
IST Scholarship
Families must first apply through "SSS" (School and Student Services), a service of the National Association of Independent Schools, which involves completing an online questionnaire and submitting your family's financial records, including your 2011 tax return when it becomes available. The non-refundable fee for this is $37. SSS generates a report which IST's Admissions Office uses for guidance when making an IST Scholarship award.

IST General Scholarships apply to Tuition Fees only and cannot exceed 80% of applicable Tuition Fees. A family in receipt of an IST Scholarship is still obligated to meet the non-Scholarship portion of the Tuition Fees, and any other Fees and expenses which might apply.
Arizona Tax Credit Scholarship
Arizona taxpayers who donate to fund private-school scholarships can receive a tax credit. These scholarships are awarded by outside bodies and regulations change from time to time.
Jessica E Martin Chess Scholarship
For students entering the Junior School with an Attitude and Aptitude for Chess. The application deadline for 2012/2013 has been extended to 28 February 2012.
Patricia Henryk Music Scholarship
For students entering the Junior School with an Attitude and Aptitude for Music.
In rare cases, a Scholarship may be awarded to a student entering the Junior School with extraordinary talents. Awards are made considering :
IST Scholarships apply only to students in Junior School programmes.
Parents are urged to take full advantage of the State Tax Credit Scholarship programme so that IST's limited Scholarship funds can be used to assist as many families as possible.
