IST's 2009/2010 beginner's basketball squad with coach Mr David Rutledge practising at the Northwest Neighbourhood Sports Center just seven blocks from IST. In 2010/2011, the squad competed in the Tucson YMCA citywide G3 / 4 competition for the first time. Most matches were played at the Lohse YMCA downtown.
In 2011/2012, IST will enter two teams in the G3/4 competition, while a third group of recreational players will play intra-mural matches.
