IST is an independent school; we receive no government money and our income comes from Tuition Fees and Fundraising / Donations. To keep our Fees low, we need the latter. When we expand out campus, or add extra equipment or fund scholarships, we cannot riase a new tax or sell a new bond. We must raise the money and we need your support.
The average annual cost of an IST education is $9,000 - 10,000. However, our Tuition Fees are around $2,000 less and so we also need your support to help bridge this gap and to keep IST affordable. Tax-deductible donations can be made to our four capital funds :

2011/2012 Annual CampaignIST's 2011/2012 Annual Campaign began 1 July with three goals :
Our tuition fees cannot cover the capital costs of Buildings and Facilties (including acquisition). IST's Buildings campaign is an ongoing rolling campaign with several targets.
Our new campus brings with it immediate expenses (the move, renovations, architect fees, licence fees etc) and increased ongoing expenses (maintenance, cleaning, utilities) resulting from its larger size. Donations to provide scholarships attract a dollar-for-dollar credit against Arizona state taxes. You can either make a lump sum donation or you can donate from your pay-cheque and at the same time reduce the tax you pay. Either way, it costs you nothing and you may receive an additional federal deduction.

Give our students the IST Edge!
Basic Tuition covers IST’s basic operating needs (staff compensation, building expenses, utilities, insurance, equipment and supplies, and the special expenses incurred as a language immersion school - staff visas, foreign textbooks etc.). Basic Tuition is not tax deductible.
The IST Edge is a tax-deductible donation, with a suggested minimum amount equivalent to 7 percent of the PS Base Tuition Fees. It specifically provides funds to support significant special services and equipment, such as broadened financial aid for qualified families, staff professional development, beyond-basic library resources, and beyond-basic computers, software, and equipment not otherwise provided through Basic Tuition (but still 100 percent part of the School’s General Operating Budget).

$100 will get you an engraved brick either in the 711 patio, or at the 1730 entrance. Click here for the engraving order form. Funds raised go to the block walls around the play yards.
Many online merchants will donate a percentage of their sales to IST. Click on the image to the right to access the portal and see if your favourite online merchant(s) participate(s).
If you link your credit card details to the e-scrip list of restaurants, every time you eat at one up to 5% will come back to IST at no cost to you! Click here for details and to sign up.
Mention IST when you purchase an iComfort, Tempur-Pedic, Simmons ComforPedic or Serta Perfect Day and Bedmart will donate 5% of the purchase price of that mattress set directly to IST.

Link your Target "Red Card" to IST and the School receives a 1% rebate on all your purchases. Go to "Take Charge of Education" and enter IST's ID number 145 015. Please tell your friends.
