Tucson has (had) four groups using the term "international" but has only one international school - IST.
Arizona International College - a University of Arizona project which came and went. We do not know why, but it seems like it was a great idea.
International School of Tucson - us. Tucson's true international school. Check out our website to find out why.
International School for Peace - the St Francis Childrens' Garden, renamed when the church built an International Peace Garden and opened an International Peace Library. Despite publically claiming not to be part of the church, its staff are church employees, its childcare licence is held by the church and its last IRS filing cliamed religious exemption. They do offer some language exposure classes. We have reached out repeatedly, however the church and its staff have been so far uninterested in any relationship.
Tucson International Academy - a public charter school with three sites. Other than possibly for marketing reasons, we are unsure why they adopted the term "international".
