Students usually enter IST's Pre-School sector at the beginning of the semester closest to their third birthday. They must be fully potty-trained, and socially and emotionally ready for school. Moms too must be ready!
IST's Pre-School has three levels :
Reception - the focus is on social / emotional development and on pre-academics.
Transition - the focus is on independence.
Foundation - the focus is on reading, three-column numbers and on preparation for Junior School.
The Language A programme is one of full-immersion.
