Mr Kevin Hague, Member of New Zealand's Parliament ("MP") representing the West Coast, has recommended IST to New Zealand ("NZ") teachers considering teaching internationally. This is a great honour for IST to be recognised by one of NZ's up-and-coming young MPs.
NZ's government is based on Britain's Westminster Parliamentary system. Mr Hague is a list MP and represents NZ's Green Party. Under NZ's proportional representation system, voters vote both for a representative for their geographical area and for one of the country's many political parties which then appoints MPs based on the number of votes received.
