IST Invitational Chess Tournament (Sunday 14 November)

Location:             International School of Tucson

Description:         USCF Rated. 4-round tournament : 2 sections: Under-450 and Under-900

Schedule:           Check-in is from 9:30-10:00. Games start at 10:00 am.

Round times are 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, and 1:00   Awards will follow.

Time Control:      Game in 30 minutes (per player). Bring chess clocks and sets.

Rules:                  Touch move/take will be enforced. Notation will be optional but encouraged for players comfortable. USCF rules will be enforced.

Prizes:                 1^st 2^nd and 3^rd place prizes in each Section. (Prizewinners will receive gift certificates to a local bookstore!)

Entry Fee:            $10 if paid / postmarked by Wednesday 10 November 2010; $15 if paid / postmarked after Wednesday 10 November.

To Register:        Registration is required. Include name, USCF membership number, USCF rating, grade, and school. Payment must be made by cheque payable to "International School of Tucson" - registration is not complete until payment is received. Click here for the downloadable entry form.
