IST had its best-ever showing at the 2012 Southern Arizona Regional Science and Engineering Fair ("SARSEF"). From the maximum 10 entries permitted, IST scored three firsts, a second, a third and a special award.
Connor S was first in Kindergarten and also received the TEP Special Award, Kai was first in G1, Eva and Sydney first in G2, Robbie second in G2 and Ashling third in G1.
Science Club coach Ms Emma Nelson was named Top Teacher in Southern Arizona.
This is IST's fourth year at SARSEF and IST students have won awards every year.
