Art - "Crafts and Coloring Across the Seven Continents"
This class is designed for students between the ages of 5 to 9 years. They will learn about the 7 continents through arts and crafts and each week we will “visit” a different continent, focusing on various countries, peoples, customs, etc. As we tour the seven continents, the children craft their own passports and suitcases, and each week our content will shift as students build on the mechanical and artistic skills learned in previous weeks. The students will learn about world regions and individual countries, cultures, people, and customs. They can color/ craft souvenirs, pictures, stickers for their suitcases or even make a visitors guide for their parents. In addition to arts, crafts, learning and community building, we will present and discuss ideas about global oneness and international citizenship to prepare students for the globalized, harmonized future.
Chinese
Chinese has been confirmed for ages 3 - 5 for the first six weeks of the Programme, possibly longer. Popular IST Chinese teacher Ms Natia Lien will be teaching the group.

Coaches Josh Leonard, Amanda Mateer and Andy Roth have confirmed their availability. Mixed-age Open-rated programmes will be offered by Coach Leonard in Weeks 1 and 2, Coach Roth in Week 3 and Coach Mateer in Week 7. In Week 4, Coach Leonard will run a mixed-age programme for players rated 200 - 650 and Coach Roth will offer a mixed-age programme for players rated beginner to 200.

Ms Veronika Williams is returning for a second year to take the 3 - 5 year-old group, and we have enough interest to offer a 5 - 9 year-old group.
